Something new: English Meetups for Teens

Having teenagers who would love nothing more than to independently choose how they learn and who they learn with, I realised that the best way to promote English practice in a relaxed setting was to open the doors and let them find their own path to learning.

Having stocked up on some fun group and solo board games, a selection of great young adult reads and a lot of comfy cushions, Language Plus is now open on Tuesday lunchtimes for kids to come and eat with their friends while trying out their English in a safe, casual environment.

I'm here to welcome them and point them towards the classroom, to answer questions or help with assignments, and occasionally (and very sneakily) support their learning with some timely hints.

My daughter will say that using stock photos is so wrong, but having said that she makes this face a lot when talking about schoolwork. And here in Switzerland, schoolwork can be a grind. So let's make learning fun, starting with English!
